VAT on goods sold in the IDF Shop
VAT stands for Value-Added Tax, which is charged on goods sold within the European Union (EU). In accordance with the laws governing members of the European Union, IDF is obliged to charge VAT on all orders delivered to destinations in member countries of the EU. In general, VAT is charged in accordance with the local legislation in each member state.
All the prices of products listed in the IDF Shop are inclusive of the rate of VAT applied in Belgium. Your final price may differ depending on the actual VAT rate that applies to your order. You will be able to see your final price inclusive of applicable VAT before you confirm your order. For customers with a delivery address within the EU, VAT charges for your order will be itemised on the last page of your order, in the e-mail confirmation of your order and on the invoice dispatched with your order.
Customers outside of the EU
Products sold by IDF that are dispatched to addresses outside of the European Union are generally not subject to EU VAT. When ordering goods for delivery overseas, you may be subject to import duties and taxes that are levied once the package reaches your country. Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so you should contact your local customs office for further information.
Return of goods
The International Diabetes Federation wants you to be completely satisfied with your purchases, as do the producers who made them. Please let us know if you are not entirely satisfied with our products or our service, so that we can rectify the situation. We try to ensure that all our products are the same as our original samples, although sometimes differences do occur. Items are described and photographed as accurately as possible, but please note that sizes, colours and designs may vary.
If the product is damaged in any way or has become broken in transit please contact us on +322-5385511 or info@idf.org.
